This tank is called the Kuroshio Sea. It contains 80 species including yellow-fin tuna, bonito, and the massive whale shark. Its not actually a whale though. Its actually a really big fish, and this tank contains four of them. The tank is ment to reflect the native species found around Okinawa. In fact, even the water is pumped in from only 300 meters offshore.

I haven’t visited the Okinawa Aquarium, but judging from this tank it puts its Osaka sister facility to shame.
