Sales of Karol’s Keroro ( Sgt. Frog as we know him in the states ), one of the paid downloads in the PlayStation 3 version of Tales of Vesperia, broke the 35,000 mark.
Yes, you read that correctly. 35,000 Keroro costumes have been sold. So, 35,000 multiplied by 500 yen and you get… 17,500,000 yen or nearly $200,000. Please note that number is not exact it is nearly an estimate, which means the actual total is probably larger then that. That seems like way to much money for people to be spending on just a single costume change. I could maybe understand if it was $1 per costume, but $5? To each his own I guess.
First idolm@ster now this. I guess this style of DLC is not going anywhere. At least not in Japan.
